If Kansas Lottery can't detect your location, it's usually because your device’s Wi-Fi or location services are turned off; and it’s quite easy to fix!
Please Note: Kansas Lottery games can only be accessed while you are physically located within Kansas. If you are outside the state, your location cannot be verified, and you will not be able to access location-restricted features. Your location may not appear correctly for various reasons. Try the following to ensure we can accurately locate you.

Refresh your browser and check your internet connection:
- A strong internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data) is necessary for accurate location detection.
- Refresh your browser or restart the app.
- If your connection is weak, try resetting your Wi-Fi connection or connecting to a different Wi-Fi network or using mobile data.

Enable Location Services:
- Ensure that location services are turned on for your device.
- For iOS: Go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services and toggle it on.
- For Android: Go to Settings > Location and toggle it on.
- For Web Browser: View How do I turn on location services for a web browser?
- If they are already turned on you can turn off your device’s location permissions, then turn them back on.

Disable or turn off mock locations, VPNs or proxy services
- VPNs, proxy services, and mock location settings can prevent accurate location detection.
- These can be found in your settings or preferences on the device
- Turn off any active VPN or proxy service.
- Disable any mock location settings on your device, if enabled.

Allow Location Permissions for Kansas Lottery:
- Make sure Kansas Lottery is allowed to access your location.
- iOS: Go to Settings > Kansas Lottery > Location and select Always or While Using the App.
- Android: Go to Settings > Apps > Kansas Lottery > Permissions and enable Location.

Clear Cache and Restart:
- On mobile: Go to Settings > Apps > Kansas Lottery > Storage > Clear Cache. Then restart the app.
- On browser: Clear your browser cache, close and reopen the browser, then log in to Kansas Lottery again.
- After clearing cache fully power your device off, wait 60 seconds, and then power back on.

- Firefox is not a supported browser for geolocation services
- Some supported browsers you can use are Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Safari

Check for Device Updates:
- Sometimes, device settings or recent updates affect location accuracy.
- If the problem persists, try updating your device’s software.
- Restart your device after updating.

Try a different Device
- If location verification is not working on your phone, try using a computer. If it is not working on a computer, try using a mobile device instead.
